  • Love River (Guobin Port)

    The Love River originates from Renwu district and flows through central Kaohsiung. The lower banks have been converted into riverside parks, and is a popular recreational spot within the city. Dragon boat festivals and Lantern festivals are often held in the area. At night, colorful lights along the river light up the river, and you can take a romantic and relaxing walk along the river after a busy day in the city.

  • Pier-2 Art Center

    The center's name comes from its proximity to the 2nd Pier of Kaohsiung Port. Under the joint effort between many artists, local cultural workers, and the Bureau of Cultural Affairs of Kaohsiung government, many art festivals were held here. This popular artistic spot is popular among locals and tourists. You can ride a bike along the coast, and take many great photos on the side. The center also periodically hosts many special exhibitions, which will make every visit different from the last one!

  • Sizihwan

    Sizihwan is a scenic area located on the West side of Kaohsiung, just at the foot of Shoushan Mountain and north of Cijin Island. It gold-sanded beach is famous for its beautiful sunsets, which is one of the top 8 sights of Kaohsiung. At night, you can see lights from fishing boats afar light twinkle. The romantic setting often attracts couples to come and tell their love to each other.

  • Gushan Ferry Station

    During the Ming and Qing dynasties, people traveled to the station on bamboo rafts and sampans. In 1985, the station was rebuilt, and connects Cijin Island with a 2-floor tourist ferry. Currently, there are 160 daily departures from Gushan to Cijin, and is a must visit for tourists. On the ferry, you can see the beautiful harbor. At sunset, the reflection of the sun on the water is absolutely stunning. The ferry is not only crucial for residents of Cijin Island, but also the most convenient way for tourists to visit the Island and enjoy its fresh seafood.

  • Liouhe Tourist Night Market

    Formerly the Daganpu Night Market, Liouhe Tourist Night Market is an international-level tourist night market in Kaohsiung. Emerging between the end of the 1940s to the beginning of the 1950s, it is listed as one of the most representative night markets in Kaohsiung. In 1987, Kaohsiung City Government designated Liouhe Tourist Night Market as the pedestrian walking zone between six in the evening and two in the morning; the night market has since then become the tourist night market that people know about. People can enjoy numerous local B-class gourmets, such as papaya milk, eel spaghetti, fried pork rib soup, BBQ and iced lemon aiyu jelly.

The first version of the classic Kaohsiung Sightseeing Bus adopted a red color design. Due to different requirements of passengers, its seats are divided to an open top area, an air-conditioned area, and a semi-open sofa area. When tourists sit in the open top area, they can not only enjoy the fascinating scenery of the Kaohsiung Port, but are also allowed to interact with the city without barriers, while feeling the passion of the City.

  • Passengers are forbidden to stand on a bus, open an umbrella, or put their heads/hands outside the window of the bus.
  • If it rains while a bus is moving, please move to the lower deck or air-conditioned zone as much as possible.
